DOOR OF HOPE
STANFORD SEED
Business development is the first step to ending the cycle of global poverty. We understand that our success in the industry is due to the hard work of our people, and we hope to use our position to make the right choices and changes in a community. We choose humans over profit, and community growth over grandeur.
The Stanford University’s The Seed Transformation Programme’s philosophy is that businesses create a strong economy and a solid community of proud, hard-working people.
We’re immensely honoured and proud of Autoboys’ managing director Filum Ho, who is representing Autoboys in the programme, where we’re one of three South African companies selected to participate. The Seed Transformation Programme is a 12-month programme which has allowed Autoboys leaders to assess our visions, re-define our strategies and make ambitious changes. We do this to create exponential growth that will generate new jobs.
STUDENT SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMME
Autoboys partners with the Student Sponsorship Programme (SSP) to provide bursaries to learners with a high level of potential from disadvantaged backgrounds. We aim to enable them to attend private high schools in Gauteng. We believe that education extends beyond the classroom, and our scholarship fund includes extracurricular leadership and personal development activities.
The bursary gives both scholars and parents access to a full range of support services. Two of the Autoboys family are taking it a step further, and have volunteered to mentor SSP scholars and guide them through their high school careers. We do this to ensure that they are fully supported and have the best chance to succeed.
DOOR OF HOPE
In partnership with Door of Hope, we make a difference to the charity’s abandoned babies and toddlers. Our 46664 partnership has created a foundation for extensive maintenance and donations to support the children’s needs.
